DR. KAHN SPECIALIZES IN OVER 100 DIFFERENT TYPES OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE IMAGE-GUIDED PROCEDURES

Founder of The Fibroid Center and New England Endovascular Center, Dr. Kahn is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

A native of Miami, Florida, Dr. Kahn sought a “change of seasons” when he enrolled at Amherst College in the fall of 1993. Following his graduation, he attended Emory University in Atlanta where he earned both his MD and MBA. He went on to complete a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Virginia. While in training, he gained extensive experience in minimally invasive therapies for diabetic limb rescue and peripheral arterial disease. He is a nationally recognized expert in his field and regularly teaches at international vascular surgery and interventional radiology conferences. In 2013, he was awarded fellowship status with the Society of Interventional Radiology, an honor reserved for less than 10% of the society’s members. A prolific author, Dr. Kahn has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and textbooks. His latest text, Interventional and Endovascular Tips and Tricks of the Trade by Oxford University Press, is a compilation of the most advanced techniques from experts around the world.

Dr. Kahn and his family returned to western New England in 2011 when he joined the vascular surgery department at Baystate Medical Center as Assistant Professor, Tufts University School of Medicine. While there, Dr. Kahn served on the Limb Rescue Team and cared for hundreds of patients suffering from peripheral vascular disease and critical limb ischemia. He also performed countless endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) procedures, a minimally invasive therapy for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA).

Recognizing an unmet need for enhanced outpatient care, in 2017 Dr. Kahn founded the New England Endovascular Center, a conveniently located facility dedicated to offering state-of-the-art minimally-invasive therapy. The Center features advanced procedural suites and employs the finest medical staff in the valley. Dr. Kahn embraces a “patient-first” approach to medicine and feels that all patients are to be treated as family.
